web 2.0 things

I've been reading staff blogs whenever I get a chance, to get an idea of how things are going. I came across some great ideas that I want to share (mainly so I won't forget them!):

• Use podcasts for new patron orientations, to help them get to know the building, the collection, etc.
• Use podcasts to teach classes for the public.
• Have an RSS feed that contains staff training opportunities (we may actually have that -- does the training blog have an RSS feed?)
